Helmet Safety
Safe Communities Central Alberta & Alberta Health Services will partner to provide education and resources surrounding helmet safety. We will talk about keeping your brain safe and the differnt types of helmets that are for different types of activities. We will provide an interactive demonstration using a prize wheel, a "bio-Brain" and several different types of helmets.
For participants coming in the later part of the day there will be an "egg helmet construction" game available. This is where participants design a helmet for a raw egg and then test its effectiveness by dropping their agg from various heights. The activities in this booth will be aimed at age 5 - 13, and their parents.
