7th Annual Community Safety Day
We are proud to share our mutual commitment to safety and promote it to the communities in which we work, live and play. This years event will be made possible by ConocoPhillips, EnCana, Alberta Sustainable Resource Development, TransCanada, Rolf's Grocery, Penn West and Taqa North, along with several other contributors from our community and province abroad.
The goal to increase safety knowledge in every aspect of our lives will be delivered to all ages on Wednesday, May 2nd at the Rocky Mountain House Arena. We want to develop and encourage safe and healthy habits for everyone. If we can model safety to our children from a young age, this will become routine for them. Our hope is to decrease accidents, incidents and injuries by educating and increasing awareness about safety.
Check back often to see an updated list of participants attending 2012. Last year we had about 35 participants covering everything from fires, to bears, to ATVs, to mold, to farm hazards, electrical, internet, first aid, traffic and much, much more making an impact on the community through games, activities, and interactive displays.
Please bring your friends, family, co-workers, students, etc to the arena May 2nd from 9:30am to 4:30pm and remember…
